Every legacy has a beginning. The roots of this ministry were planted in 1975 through the life of Delores Winder at age 48. What began with pain in her body became a 19½-year battle against a degenerative bone disease that left her in a full body cast for most of her young adult life. After countless surgeries and procedures, doctors told her there was nothing more they could do and sent her home at the age of 48 to prepare for her funeral. Though she had lost hope, God had not yet revealed His plan to transform her story.A friend invited Delores to a Kathryn Kuhlman gathering in Dallas, Texas. Though reluctant to attend, her friend persisted. During the service, a physician who traveled with Kathryn Kuhlman noticed Delores in the audience and became interested in her condition. Kathryn invited Delores onto the platform and told her to stand and walk, unaware that she had been confined to a wheelchair for years. Because of a previous surgery, Delores struggled to speak, but when she tried to respond, she immediately realized her voice had changed. As faith began to rise, she stood to her feet and walked. She bent over and touched her toes for the first time since being placed in a full body cast. Then, at Kathryn's instruction, she ran across the stage. By the power of God, Delores received the miracle she never thought was possible.Her healing, later recognized as one of the most remarkable miracles of the century, became the catalyst for God's call on her life. In 1976, that calling gave birth to The Fellowship Foundation.For the next four decades, Delores devoted her life to helping people encounter Jesus as Healer, Savior, and Lord. She traveled throughout the United States and abroad, sharing her testimony, teaching the Scriptures, and encouraging believers to walk in the power and promises of God's Word. Her faith was deeply rooted in the conviction that what Jesus did during His earthly ministry was not confined to history, but remained available to believers today through the Holy Spirit.Delores had a way of making every person feel seen. Whether in a church sanctuary, a grocery store, or across her kitchen table, she was quick to offer prayer and words of encouragement. She welcomed people into her home with warmth and hospitality, creating a place where they could find hope, wisdom, and a reminder of God's faithfulness. More than anything, she wanted people to know Jesus personally and to experience His love and transforming power for themselves.

The Heirloom Harvest

In one of their final visits together before Delores went home to be with the Lord in 2016, she shared something that would forever mark Trevor and Hylaree Deas. Though she had always assumed the ministry would remain within her own family, she told them that the Lord had spoken to her—that they were to receive the mantle to carry forward what He had begun through her life and ministry.There was no dramatic moment or immediate sense of what that would mean. No fireworks went off. Only the quiet weight of her words. Because it was Delores who said them, Trevor and Hylaree knew they carried significance.What they couldn't have known was that nearly a decade would pass before they fully understood what God was asking of them. Those years were marked by waiting, growing, and learning to trust God's timing. Looking back, they can see that He was faithfully preparing their family for the work ahead.Today, they step forward with open hands and willing hearts, surrendering every expectation of what this legacy should become while refusing to place any limitations on what God can do. The foundation remains unchanged: Jesus Christ, the truth of His Word, and the power of the Holy Spirit at work in the lives of His people.Their prayer is simple: to serve the Lord well, to love people deeply, and to create space for others to encounter the presence of God. They believe the same Holy Spirit who worked so powerfully through Delores is still moving today, and they consider it a sacred privilege to carry forward the legacy of faith, healing, and hope God established through her life.This is The Heirloom Harvest.
